Czech, French and Swedish Foreign Ministers to visit Regional Cooperation Council Secretariat in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and current President of the Council of the European Union, Karel Schwarzenberg, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the French Republic, Bernard Kouchner, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Carl Bildt, will tomorrow visit the Secretariat of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) in Sarajevo.

The visit to the RCC Secretariat of Ministers Schwarzenberg, Kouchner and Bildt will be another confirmation of a great importance the European Union attaches to the RCC, as its key partner in South East Europe, and to regional cooperation as such.

The Ministers will meet the RCC Secretary General Hido Biscevic and the staff of the Secretariat, Ambassadors of the participating States of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) accredited to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the RCC Secretariat’s host country. The Mayor of Sarajevo, Alija Behmen, has also been invited to the event.

Journalists are invited to attend the event on Wednesday, 8 April 2009, at 19.15 hours, at the premises of the RCC Secretariat, Trg BiH 1/V, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
