The Prime Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia designates National Roma Contact Point

Following the letter of Mr Johanes Hahn, Commissioner for Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission, Mr George Soros, Founder and Chairmen of Open Society Foundations and Mr Goran Svilanovic, Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council on May 03, 2016 by which governments participating in the Roma Integration 2020 were invited to participate at the project launch event in Brussels and to nominate National Roma Contact Points, the Prime Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Mr Emil Dimitriev, on July 08, 2016 nominated the National Roma Contact Point. Mr Nezdet Mustafa, Minister without portfolio responsible for the issues relevant for the Roma community is the newly appointed National Roma Contact Point. Mr Mustafa was appointed a Minister in July 2008 to coordinate the Decade of Roma Inclusion and the National Roma Strategy in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Within the Roma Integration 2020 project Mr Mustafa will represent the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in the project Task Force. He will participate at the project activities and collaborate closely with the Regional Cooperation Council’s Roma Integration 2020 Action Team in achieving the objectives of the project.
