Intelligence services in cyber domain and gender mainstreaming in focus of upcoming SEEMIC meeting

11th South East European Military Intelligence Chiefs’ forum (SEEMIC) meeting will take place in Ljubljana on 6 November 2019, organised by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and Slovenian Intelligence and Security Service of the Ministry of Defence (ISS MoD).

This SEEMIC is meeting, at the level of Directors, is meant to formally adopt the OSINT Assessment “The role of intelligence services in the cyber domain”, the text of which was agreed by the SEEMIC Expert Working Group in May. OSINT Assessment considers the nature of cyber environment in South East Europe (SEE) and the effective responses to the emerging cyberspace security challenges. The formal adoption will be followed by the South Eastern and Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SEESAC) presentation on Gender Mainstreaming in Armed Forces.
