Sixth Regional (Jumbo) Security Coordination Conference: “Enhancing regional security cooperation: a pillar of the Western Balkans European path”

The Sixth Regional (Jumbo) Security Coordination Conference: “Enhancing regional security cooperation: a pillar of the Western Balkans European path”  to be held on 6 December 2021, Paris, France, aims to support the efforts of streamlining the cooperation and coordination in the Balkans region, as well as between the Balkans and the EU and to encourage the exchange of best practices on internal security issues between the law enforcement institutions of the Western Balkans, France and other European relevant stakeholders. Conclusions of the conference are to propose further actions and cooperation, in order to enhance regional security cooperation.
 
Main topics will include the most pressing security issues of the Western Balkans: radicalization, illicit migration and organized crime. 
 
The conference is expected to bring together around 100 practitioners from the region, representatives of EU institutions and bodies, representatives of law enforcement institutions, relevant organizations, and CSOs. 
 
Sixth Regional (Jumbo) Security Coordination Conference is being organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) in cooperation with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Institute for Higher National Defense Studies.
