| Description | This ex post paper is written for both policymakers and first-line practitioners engaging or dealing with violent far-right extremists and Islamist extremists. This paper can serve as a guideline for practitioners and policymakers involved in preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE). We list factors to be considered when formulating P/CVE strategies, including alternative and counter-narratives, and use examples to illustrate their relevance.
