Common P-CVE challenges in Western Balkans and European Union
In order to increase the exchange of information between practitioners and national policymakers, RAN will in the year 2018 deliver six Policy and Practice Events. The “Common PCVE challenges in Western Balkans and European Union” is just the first which aims to attract both groups of actors (authorities agencies, NGOs, and communities) in the Western Balkans and European Union to target common challenges in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE). The meeting will be divided into two related topics, whereas the first part will be dedicated to the effective and sustainable partnership of all actors involved, and the second part will focus on addressing the vulnerability of young children (pre-teens) in extremist environments. Participants will also discuss options for responding to young returnees to the Western Balkans whose parents have joined terrorist groups.
This meeting will be organized by RAN in collaboration with the Bulgarian Presidency.
