Peace and partnerships in the SEE Region

Targets

• Enhance region-to-region dialogue
• Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships
• Enhance capacity-building support to significantly increase the availability of high-quality, timely and reliable data
• Improve the quality of communication with Parliaments in SEE economies
• Enhance transparency of national budgets in SEE
• Expand international and regional co-operation, and capacity-building support in policy development, systemic approach and performance management, transparency, public consultation and policy impact assessment, with greater reliance on data and evidence

Actions

1. Establishing regional platforms between RCC and other regions' regional organisations
2. Establishing a Regional Network of SEE Statistics Offices
3. Establishing regular regional dialogue mechanisms with stakeholders
4. Engaging SEE Parliaments in the SEE 2030 implementation
5. Advocating for SDGs-responsive national budgeting and transparency
6. Promoting regional co-operation

• Mobilise additional financial resources for SEE economies to support the implementation of SDGs

Actions

1. Establishing a regional project facility in the RCC to identify and assess feasibility of project intervention areas in the context of SEE 2030
2. Ensuring regular co-ordination of donors
3. Supporting to cluster and prepare feasibility of the priority areas of SEE 2030 Strategy for bankable investment projects
