Objective(s)
The goal was also to sensitize society, including the private and public sector in the City of Sarajevo on social inclusion and employability of persons with disabilities in the Sarajevo labor market.
Key Activities
In order to increase the competitiveness in the labor market and the possibility of their employment, IT trainings were organized for 30 people with disabilities at the Business Education Center (business informatics, graphic design, auto cad), as well as trainings on personal and specific life skills in project design. / business plans
Target groups
unemployed youth with physical disabilities; project activities focused on empowering 30 unemployed young people with physical disabilities (wheelchair users or other orthopedic mobility aids), aged 18-40, living in the Sarajevo Canton and reported to one of the employment offices in the Cantons
Results/Impact
Over the course of the project, eight out of 30 participants managed to get a job.
