Objective(s)

Key Activities
The program was implemented through three phases: Phase One: Basketball Camp in BH. Each of the selected institutions sent a trainer / teacher and three 14-17 year olds, high school students, to the camp. Eight coaches from the USA were present at this camp, transferring their knowledge to young basketball players and their coaches. Phase Two: Journey to the USA. Twelve selected coaches / teachers traveled to the US and spent two weeks in basketball camps where they acquired new knowledge in the field of sports and youth leadership development. Phase Three: Each trainer / teacher, upon returning from the US, had the opportunity to develop and implement their own project, which was supported up to $ 1,000.
Target groups
The target group of the program was young leaders from the ages of 14 to 17, high school students coaching basketball, as well as their coaches and teachers. For this program, 12 schools and / or clubs, and 36 youth and youth members of selected institutions were selected.
