Objective(s)
The main objective of the project is to provide equal conditions and educational opportunities for young people with disabilities (wheelchair users and the visually impaired) as their peers in primary and secondary schools.
Key Activities
Activities include insight into the current state of accessibility and adaptability of schools for students with disabilities. Schools and relevant institutions will be offered professional, feasible and cost-effective solutions to make schools accessible to people with disabilities. Online access to information on locations, details and accessibility of schools in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the City of Banja Luka, through the online map, make it easier for PWDs and their parents to find better schooling solutions. The mapping of schools continues and the possibility of including information on accessibility of schools from other parts of BiH has also been left.
Target groups
The project is being implemented in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the City of Banja Luka. The target group is primarily children with disabilities.
