Euronews BiH published an interview with Amer Kapetanović, Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) on 39 October 2025. Kapetanovic focused on the urgent need for the Western Balkans to more swiftly move toward membership in the European Union. He discussed the outcomes of the recent Berlin Process Summit in London, such as Britain’s renewed investment interest in the region, Germany’s backing of the Berlin Process, and proposals for a regional growth plan. He emphasized that enlargement is tied closely to key issues like economic growth, migration and security, and that only significant reforms will accelerate the region’s path to integration.
