As Individual Reform Action Plans (IRAPs) are in full implementation mode across the Western Balkans, RCC is organizing Workshop on Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) on the topic of Contract and Treaty Claims which will be held in Tirana on 26 February 2020. 

The Workshop is interlinked with the investment protection and retention chapter of Regional Investment Reform Agenda (RIRA) and concrete actions related to this topic.   It will focus on the fundamental instruments in investment arbitration and explore the interplay between the treaty claims and contract-based claims, as well as offer an overview of the concept of the déni de justice. The participants will also be invited to analyze a case study for practical implications of the discussion.
