"Human security and resilience in South East Europe in the context of South East Europe 2030 Strategy" side event at the Regional Forum on Sustainable development

Organised as the side event of the Regional Forum on Sustainable development for the UNECE region, the "Human security and resilience in South East Europe in the context of South East Europe 2030 Strategy" event aims to shed light on the pressing issues facing the region, particularly depopulation trends and the aging of societies. With the population projected to decrease significantly over the next century, there's an urgent need for comprehensive strategies to address these challenges. 

Through inclusive dialogue and insights from both official representatives and youth delegates, event will discuss the priorities of the SEE2030 Strategy and propose policy actions for regional cooperation. The outcomes of this session will be reported to the governance structures of SEE2030 Strategy and the South East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP), contributing to ongoing efforts to enhance human security and resilience in the region.
