The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and its Employment and Social Affairs Project (ESAP 3) together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and in collaboration with the European Commission organize the Western Balkans Human Capital Days: Growth Multiplier & Western Balkans Six (WB6) Alignment with EU Pillar of Social Rights. The event will be held on the 28th and 29th of October 2025 in Tirana, Albania.

Day 1 will focus on how inclusive growth and EU convergence can be accelerated by treating human capital as a growth multiplier, and how unlocking value chains and innovation can position our region for success in a shifting global economy. Day 2 will be dedicated to the presentation of region’s alignment with the European Pillar of Social Rights, including equal access to opportunities, fair working conditions and social protection and inclusion.

The event will bring together our regional partners including governments, educational institutions, private sector and civil society representatives, representatives of the European Commission, development partners and financial institutions. The event is designed to serve as a catalyst for identifying topics of regional interest that we will collaboratively work on in the coming months.
