The conference will discuss issues related to energy policy, legislation and incentives for reaching sustainability in the energy sector; energy efficiency and energy management focusing on industry and buildings; environmental protection and sustainable development; renewable energy sources; best practices in sustainable energy development and environmental protection and improvement of education in these fields. The event will be relevant for exchanging experience, information and research results and strengthening cooperation between participants, thus increasing prospects for enhanced business relations and links.

It will bring together representatives of governments, utility companies, regulatory commissions, industry, business, municipalities, civil society, international and regional organizations, consultants, research, development and educational institutions, universities and independent experts from South East Europe and internationally.

The event is being co-organised by the Society of Thermal Engineers of Serbia and Regional Cooperation Council Secretariat, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
