Belgrade – As part of his political consultations tour across South East Europe (SEE), Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Amer Kapetanović, visited Belgrade today where he met with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Đurić.
The discussions focused on strengthening regional cooperation, advancing the Common Regional Market (CRM), and supporting the EU Growth Plan for the Western Balkans and the region’s path towards EU integration. Secretary General Kapetanović also underlined the importance of coordinated efforts in implementing the SEE2030 Strategy for Sustainable Development, as well as the new CRM 2025–2028 Action Plan, which forms a cornerstone of the EU Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
“Regional cooperation is not a theoretical concept but a political choice that delivers results. With the Common Regional Market, we are not just talking about economic opportunity, but about building a region that is resilient, interconnected, prepared for the challenges ahead, and ready for the EU,” said Kapetanović.
President Vučić and Minister Đurić expressed their continued support for the RCC’s mission, commending the organisation’s role in facilitating constructive dialogue, practical initiatives, and regional stability.
Secretary General Kapetanović reiterated the RCC’s commitment to working closely with partners in the region to ensure full implementation of joint agendas and fulfilment of shared European aspirations.
