The upcoming regional economic integration 2021-2024 agenda reflects the region’s necessity to exploit the full potential of regional cooperation in the aftermath of the pandemic outbreak with a view of ensuring transformative socio-economic effect and reducing convergence gap between the Western Balkans and the EU to move Western Balkan economies closer to the EU Internal Market. This agenda is fully complementary with the European Commission’s Economic and Investment Plan and represents and integral part of EU accession process of Western Balkan economies.

The agenda is still work in progress; the integral version of the document will be elaborated in details at a later stage, outlining expected results of each regional action, implementing actors and the timeframe for the implementation of regional actions.

Objective

CEFTA and RCC Secretariats are opening public consultations with an objective to garner public views on the scope, priorities and added value of regional actions in line with the preparations of the regional economic integration 2021-2024 Action Plan.

Eligibility

The Public Consultations are open for citizens and businesses of Western Balkans (namely, citizens and businesses of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia)
