Empowering local communities in prevention of radicalization and violent extremism

Following the implementation of whole of society approach in prevention of local radicalization and violent extremism, the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) together with the Office of the Prime Minister and National Coordinator on Prevention of Extremism of Kosovo*  is organising a Workshop to enhance local communities resilience to violent extremism influence and empower local practitioners to identify and address the early warning signs of violent extremism tendencies. 

The aim of workshop is to  identify lessons learned and good practices; discuss specific approaches to empower and support local communities, education and family members as prevention/countering violent extremism actors and to make recommendation in support to the implementation of whole of society approach within the framework of overall Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism  (P/CVE) strategies.
