Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and Athens are to organize a peer learning webinar on Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) on 19 April 2024 in online format. 
 
Supported by all economies present during the 3rd and 4th Monitoring Committee Meetings, this initiative aims to foster an exchange of experiences, best practices, and challenges in preparing VNRs for the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development. VNRs serve as crucial mechanisms for presenting progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the United Nations, contributing to the effectiveness of the SEE2030 Strategy at both the economy and regional levels.

The webinar will host distinguished speakers, including representatives from Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Bucharest, who presented their VNRs last year, alongside a representative from the European Commission, which presented its first Voluntary Review in 2022. Their insights will enrich discussions and provide valuable inputs for future VNR preparations, aligning efforts towards achieving the SDGs.
