17th Meeting of South East European Military Intelligence Chiefs (SEEMIC)

17 September 2025 Sarajevo

The Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in its role as the 2025 SEEMIC Chairmanship-in-Office, together with the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) as Co-Chair, will host the 17th Meeting of South East European Military Intelligence Chiefs (SEEMIC) on 17 September 2025 in Sarajevo.

This gathering will offer an opportunity to reunite the Military Intelligence Chiefs of the SEEMIC region and engage in discussions on a highly relevant topic: “The Impact of Organized Crime on the Security of South East Europe.” The discussions are expected to provide meaningful insights that will help national intelligence communities better inform political and military decision-makers on the threats posed by organized crime across the region.

SEEMIC is a regional initiative that brings together the Military Intelligence Chiefs of South East Europe. It is co-chaired by one of its participants, in this case the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the RCC in its permanent role as Co-Chair. The initiative aims to foster regional cooperation in addressing contemporary security challenges.
