The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), in partnership with Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and with the support of the European Commission, will host the Second Annual Ministerial Meeting on the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans under the United Kingdom’s 2025 Berlin Process Chairmanship. The meeting will bring together ministers from the Western Balkans Six, representatives of the European Commission, EU member states, and regional organisations, international partners, and civil society to assess progress and guide the next phase of implementation.

Key outcomes will include endorsement of the revised GAWB Action Plan (2025–2030), Regional Action Plan on Prevention of Plastic Pollution, including Marine Litter, the WB6 Climate Adaptation Roadmap, Dubrovnik Declaration, and strengthened regional coordination for alignment with the European Green Deal. A dedicated session on donor coordination and financing will focus on investment needs and opportunities to accelerate the region’s green transition.
