Public Presentation of the SecuriMeter 2025 Report – Western Balkans Regional Security Perceptions

19 November 2025 Belgrade

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) will present the findings of its latest SecuriMeter 2025 Report on 19 November 2025 in Belgrade, as part of the Belgrade Security Conference.

The SecuriMeter 2025 survey captures how citizens across the Western Balkans Six (WB6) perceive security, governance, and key risks - from corruption and migration to cyber threats and economic uncertainty. Drawing on responses from over 6,000 participants, the report offers valuable insights into regional stability, trust in institutions, and human security challenges.

The Belgrade event will feature a presentation of key findings, followed by a moderated discussion and Q&A session with regional and international experts. Speakers will explore how citizens’ perceptions can inform policymaking and strengthen resilience, trust, and regional cooperation.

Key themes include:

• Perceptions of security and conflict – how citizens view stability and risk in the WB6;

• Corruption and public trust – impacts on governance and institutional credibility;

• Human security and emigration – addressing depopulation, economic pressures, and resilience.

The session aims to foster evidence-based dialogue among policymakers, experts, and the public, contributing to informed, collective responses to the region’s security challenges.
