IISG consultations in Sarajevo focus on cybersecurity coordination and resilience

Sarajevo – Representatives of the Integrative Internal Security Governance (IISG) held consultations with institutions responsible for cybersecurity governance in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) headquarters in Sarajevo, focusing on cybersecurity needs, strategic planning and donor coordination.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government Computer Emergency Response Team (Government CERT) and IISG to discuss developments under the IISG Cybersecurity Pillar and updates to the IISG Cybersecurity Database.
Discussions focused on strengthening cybersecurity coordination, ensuring complementarity among donor-supported initiatives and improving strategic planning. Participants also reviewed identified cybersecurity and cybercrime-related needs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The consultations highlighted the importance of regular institutional coordination, accurate and up-to-date needs mapping and regional cooperation in strengthening cyber resilience and advancing evidence-based security governance in Bosnia and Herzegovina and across the Western Balkans Six.
