RCC supports EXIT’s Festival 84

15 March 2018-18 March 2018 Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) is supporting the first edition of Exit’s newest festival - Festival 84 that is to take place at Sarajevo Olympic mountain Jahorina on 15-18 March. RCC is to take part in the Festival’s opening ceremony on 15 March, when the Secretary General Goran Svilanovic will join the Exit festival Director Dusan Kovacevic, skiing legend, Bojan Krizaj, Chair of MUNJA Social Innovation Incubator Assembly  Majda Mujanovic Babovic and Nemanja Cvetkovic, founder of NGO "Balkanac" at the panel “Silent Balkan Majority: Tourism, culture and sports connecting the region”. 

RCC also supports the production of a documentary about the relations between young people of Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, made by regional network “Balkanac”,  involving Western Balkans’ youth tackling and promoting topics such as education, culture, ecology, etc.

Exit music festival is the only music festival that arose as a result of the social activism of young people. In the past 20 years it became one of the biggest and most important music festivals not only in the region, but in the world as well. The Exit festival is not only about the music, even though it brings the world’s biggest music stars, but it has also positioned itself as a  leader in mobilizing public opinion and decision makers in the field of youth development.
