Joint Working Group on Investments (JWGI) of the Regional Cooperation Council’s South East Europe Investment Committee (RCC SEEIC) and Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) will continue the discussion on furthering the Regional Investment Reform Agenda (RIRA) through an appropriate regional instrument, as a follow up to the discussions held during the JWGI workshop held in Sarajevo on 7 May 2019.

This meeting is preparation of deliverables for the Western Balkan (WB) Summit in Poznan this July,  and will also review the reformed European Union’s (EU) investment policy as a good practice that could serve as an example to the region in forthcoming harmonization of investment policies with those of the EU, as stipulated by the Multi-Annual Action Plan for Regional Economic Area (MAP REA), as well as discuss the proposal for the joint investor outreach programme as an important upcoming activity in promoting the region as a unique investment destination.
