Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) is to organize the Joint Working Group on Investments (JWGI), taking place on 4 December 2023, in Skopje. The meeting is a part of the Common Regional Market (CRM) agenda aiming to discuss and exchange views on screening mechanisms, modern IAAs, FDI/GVI trends and incentives, as well as future actions.

The meeting aims to set the development process for Regional Investment Screening Standards, offer insights into EU and alternative screening mechanisms, discuss strategic steps for negotiating economy-specific IIAs between the EU and Western Balkan economies, present analyses on FDI/GVC trends and investment incentives in the Western Balkans, and conclude with discussions on upcoming actions for 2024.
