The Regional Cooperation Council is to organise the Extended Meeting of the Regional Working Group on the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans (RWG GAWB) on the Western Balkans Six Climate Adaptation Strategy in Belgrade on 26 March 2026.

The meeting will bring together Western Balkans Six public officials, RWG GAWB members, hydrometeorological services, and disaster risk reduction institutions, as well as representatives of the European Commission, OSCE and GIZ, who are supporting the organization of the meeting. 

The meeting is to focus on presenting the methodology for developing the WB6 Climate Adaptation Strategy and collecting technical inputs on priority regional actions, with the aim of strengthening climate resilience in the Western Balkans in line with EU policies and advancing the region’s green and climate agenda.
