The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is to organise the Working Group Meeting on Artificial Intelligence, bringing together artificial intelligence (AI) policy leads from the Western Balkans Six for a structured exchange on responsible and sustainable AI adoption.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to take stock of AI developments across the region, identify common challenges and emerging priorities, and discuss areas where regional cooperation can bring added value. 
The meeting is set to be organised under the framework of the Common Regional Market Action Plan 2025-2028, an integral part of the EU Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, and builds on UNDP’s Regional Programme for Europe and the CIS 2026–2029.
