Working Group on Financial Markets (WGFM) is to meet on 15 March 2021 in online format to discuss and agree on the proposed concept for development of a modern payment system within Free Movement of Capital pillar of the Common Regional Market Action Plan (CRM AP).

WGFM will elaborate on the proposed concept and activities envisaged for implementation of Free Movement of Capital pillar of the CRM AP 2021-2024 aiming to reach the objective of cost-efficient regional payments and prepare for joining Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) as well as to seek clarifications and gather inputs and comments on the proposed framework for Development of a modern payment system within Free Movement of Capital pillar. 

Participant of the meeting include, besides representatives from the WB Six and RCC, also members of the World Bank, European Commission and CEFTA.
