Western Balkans Future: how can you(th) shape Europe? - Second Edition of the EUBYF

Drawing upon the outputs and identified priorities of the first edition, the second edition of the EU Balkan Youth Forum (EUBYF) embraces the title is to take place on 13-15 December 2023 in Novi Sad.
The title of the Forum "Western Balkans Future: How Can You(th) Shape Europe?” captures the essence of the forum as a basis to discuss the pressing questions and potential paths for the region's future development in the context of European integration.
The EUBYF 2023 aims to invest in young activists, providing them with insights into regional cooperation and EU integration. The three-day conference will empower participants to understand the dynamics of the Common Regional Market, environmental protection, and human skills promotion. Through workshops and discussions, attendees will gain the tools and knowledge to impact their communities and raise awareness about opportunities in an enlarged Europe. The conference will conclude with EU-Western Balkans young delegates drafting conclusions, serving as a foundation for further cooperation within and beyond the EUBYF network. Prioritizing youth with proven commitment to local communities ensures the Forum facilitates meaningful partnerships between the EU and the Western Balkans to address identified needs and priorities.
Objectives of the Forum include strengthening the EU's appeal by acquainting participants with key programs and strategies for community development, fostering a common platform for dialogue among EU and Western Balkans youth, expanding the transnational youth network, empowering young individuals with skills for community impact and effective advocacy for European Integration, promoting mutual learning through shared experiences, and familiarizing participants with key cooperation agreements and strategies between the Western Balkans and the EU.
The Forum is being organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
