After extensive consultations with young people and various stakeholders, the topic of disinformation and media literacy has been identified as a highly important area where youth should be actively engaged.
In this context, The Fourth Youth Policy Lab on Media Literacy and Disinformation kicked-off in November 2025, in Tirana. A three-day regional conference brought together young people, Ministry representatives, Regulatory agencies, and experts from the Western Balkans six to co-create actionable recommendations in the fields of Media and Information Literacy, Hate Speech, Discrimination and Cyberbullying, and Youth in Media. Twelve recommendations developed serve as the foundation for the upcoming work within the Youth Policy Lab processes across all Western Balkan six.
